Mahalla unframed

Mahalla Unframed is a multiplayer VR experience presented at the Dubai Art Expo 2022.

It immerses up to three users in a point cloud scan of a traditional Uzbek building, rendered in Unity with custom shaders to animate the particles. Using a virtual 'flashlight' tool, users can reveal layers beneath the point cloud, discovering the architectural structure from the previous Venice Architecture Biennale alongside photographic documentation of the exhibition.

Done in collaboration with Giga Design Studio
